JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Celebrate the holidays by planning trips to the best Christmas light displays in the greater Jacksonville area and all of Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.
Jax Illuminations Located at the Morocco Shrine Center, spectators are treated to a drive-thru holiday light display that features over half a million LED lights that are synchronized to holiday music. Jax Illuminations is open Sunday through Thursday 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. now through Dec. 30. Ticket prices are: $20 for cars/trucks/mini vans Sunday through Thursday and $25 for cars/trucks/mini vans Friday and Saturday (7 passenger maximum) and $35 for passenger vans.

Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens ZOOLights Thousands of LED lights throughout the zoo will be featured in moving sculptures, forests of lighted trees and animal silhouettes. ZOOLights runs from 6 pm. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday - Thursday and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday & Saturday, Dec. 7-9 & Dec. 14 - Jan. 5 (Closed Christmas Day). Tickets are $10 for non-members and $8 for zoo members.
Downtown Dazzle: An Illumination Celebration The offices of the Jacksonville Children's Chorus at 225 E. Duval Street will be illuminated with a holiday light display synchronized to recorded songs of the season broadcast on 94.5 FM. The lights will be on display nightly from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. through Jan. 1.
Christmas lights at Blackhawk Bluff The Blackhawk Bluff neighborhood off Girvin Road is considered one of the best places to see Christmas lights in Jacksonville. They've been lighting up the trees for at least 15 years. The neighborhood is located off Girvin Road and Blackhawk Trail South.

Jacksonville Beach Deck the Chairs The annual lighted sculptural exhibit decorates the iconic chairs of The American Red Cross Life Saving Corps at the Seawalk Pavilion and Latham Plaza. This year, it features a one-of-a-kind display -- giant jellyfish with tentacles full of single-use plastics. The displays are up now through Jan. 1.

Southcreek Lights It's a light show synchronized to Christmas music located at 1749 Southcreek Drive in St. Johns. Sixty-four channels, 29 songs, approx 5,000 lights and you can listen to the music on 94.7FM. The show runs from 5:30 p.m. – midnight, 7 days a week through December 31. Gierlich Holiday Wonderland A Gierlich Christmas Wonderland is a light display located in Interlachen. In addition to Christmas, Gierlich displays lights for both Halloween and Christmas and a small one for Easter. The displays all consist of lights, blow molds and inflatables. The display is located at 1400 Fowler Street in Interlachen.
Santa's Lights, St. Marys, Ga. Tom Chapman said he and his family and have setting up their display for years and they collect donations to help Camden House, a shelter for victims of domestic violence. Chapman said every one of their nearly-100,000 bulbs is LED and it will only take about 900 watts to run the entire display. Santa's Lights is located on East Dillingham Street in St. Marys.
Nocatee-A-Glow The Nocatee Light Show is going on at the Splash Waterpark the entire month of December. Shows begin at 6 p.m. and run on the half hour. Various shows will rotate throughout the evening and the last show will begin at 10 p.m. The Splash Bar will also be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night in December from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Arbor Glade Christmas Town Neighbors in the Arbor Glade subdivision, on Backwind Drive located off Old St. Augustine Road, will have their lights on through the end of December. Johnathan Perry said multiple houses are decorated and each one has a different theme. There is also a radio station with music to accompany the lights.
"Holiday Road" in Macclenny This light display is located at 331 South 6th Street Macclenny, just south of U.S. 90. Kirk Gravelle shared a video of the display with us (watch it above) and it's a real treat -- the lights are synchronized to Lindsey Buckingham's "Holiday Road" and other songs. Kirk said the music to the show is broadcast on station 92.7, and the church provides parking across the street so that you can sit in your car to watch the show and listen to it on the radio. The show starts at 5:30 p.m. and goes till 1 a.m. every night through New Year's.

Timber Creek Plantation, Yulee On Deerwood Drive, you can watch a light display that's synchronized to Christmas music on 98.1. Tabby Strauder told us about the display, which she said takes place from 5:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. every night. You can even see some of the songs being sung to you by a quartet of Christmas trees.
Jones Road, Jacksonville Melissa Fedler tells us this "beautiful" display at 4419 Jones Road, just north of Pritchard Road, is on every night from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The lights and inflatables are set up along a quarter-mile loop driveway.
Crystal Branch Court, Jacksonville On your way to the Blackhawk Bluff subdivision, Scott Johnson said you can check out this light display that's set to music. It's in the first subdivision on the right after you turn onto Girvin Road from Atlantic Boulevard.
Nochaway Drive, St. Augustine This display, located at 1392 Nochaway Drive off Pacetti Road in the World Golf Village area, features thousands of lights synched to 21 songs. Jonathan Landingham told us about this display and he said to hear the music, just turn your car radio to 94.7 FM.
Aspen Court, Orange Park Diane Toney tells us, "There is a beautiful display of Christmas lights on Aspen Court in Orange Park. The whole street is covered in lights. A wonderful sight to behold." The display runs every night until about 11 p.m.
Lights on Lariat Lane This display is located at 10774 Lariat Lane in Jacksonville. About 9,000 lights are on and dancing to music from around 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. every night until the New Year.
