ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Mickler’s Landing Beachfront Park and portions of the parking lot are now open for the Easter holiday.
The pedestrian beach access and parking lot will close at 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, and remain closed Monday through Friday to allow crews to continue working on the FEMA Dune Enhancement Project.
This project is designed to strengthen the coastline dunes to provide extra protection to homes, businesses, and infrastructure against future storms or environmental events.
As a reminder, the park and parking lot are open on Saturdays and Sundays, with all project areas continually being monitored for protected species and environmental impact.
Beginning May 20, Mickler’s Landing Beachfront Park and parking lot will be fully open. Beach visitors are encouraged to exercise caution near areas of construction along the coast until its completion.

Non-project Beach updates can be heard on the Beach Services Hotline at 904-209-0331.
