NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — Nassau County Commissioners voted 5-0 to mandate masks.
Starting Friday morning at 7 a.m., all Nassau County residents will be required to wear masks inside all indoor public places.
In a special meeting Thursday night, Nassau County Commissioners unanimously voted to require masks indoors where there can’t be any social distancing.
Under the order, everyone, which includes employees and customers over the age of six, has to wear a face mask at all times while indoors where there is no possibility of social distancing.
There are exceptions. If it will interfere with an activity, such as eating or going to the dentist’s office, or a disability that prevents you from wearing a mask.
