NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — A Nassau man has 880,000 more reasons to smile after purchasing a winning scratch-off from a Circle K in Callahan.
The Florida Lottery said William Burleigh, 59, of Callahan, claimed his $1 million prize from the Billion Dollar Gold Rush Supreme Scratch-Off.
Burleigh chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $880,000.00, lottery officials said.
Billion Dollar Gold Rush Supreme scratch-off was launched in February and features four top prizes of $15 million, which is the largest Scratch-Off top prize offered by the Florida Lottery.
The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-2.59.
