NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. — Neptune Beach Police Chief David Sembach has retired, according to officials.
The retirement comes after a meeting Monday with City Manager Andrew Hyatt, Action News Jax learned from multiple sources.

Neptune Beach police said Tony Carrillo has taken over as interim chief, effective immediately and indefinitely.
Action News Jax reached out to Hyatt to find out what was discussed during Monday's meeting. We have not heard back at this time.
Sembach did not wish to speak with Action News Jax at this time.
