New evidence has been released in the death of the local 7-year-old girl, Heidy Rivas-Villanueva, who was shot and killed by a stray bullet outside a Westside shopping center in August.

We are now hearing from the several people who called 911 in the moments after the shootout that police say happened during a robbery:

There is a kid that’s been shot.”

"He was holding her. She seemed lifeless. He was holding her, just running and screaming."

The little girl was killed while sitting in a car off 103rd

She and her father were waiting for her mother to get off work.

Heidy had been shot in the head.

Interrogation video of the suspects was also released by the state attorney’s office.

Eight men in total were interviewed in connection with the case; five have been arrested.
