PHOTOS: New striping on Cassat Ave. causes confusion for Jacksonville drivers
In between San Juan Ave. and Blanding Boulevard, there appears to be three lanes on the Southbound side. However, the middle lane is noticeably smaller than the others.

Some drivers believe it’s a bike lane. However, vehicles are still driving in it.
Action News Jax reached out to the City of Jacksonville to get answers about why the lane is smaller and if it’s intended for bikers, why doesn’t is say that.
We also asked if there’s any plan to add signage to make it clearer. We’re still waiting on a response.
