JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Students at Edward Waters College will soon have a new place to relax and have fun.
The school’s president Dr. Zachary Faison Jr., made the announcement on social media and released renderings of the new student activity center on Thursday.
It is the latest construction project on the campus of Jacksonville’s historically Black college, which recently opened a new dorm, football field and stadium.
The new student activity space is set to open this fall.
Faison said he hopes to announce another major campus project in the next 30 days.
