The result will be some much needed rain for Northeast Florida on Thursday and especially Friday -- two weeks since the last significant rainfall.
No development of the system is forecast before reaching Florida. There is a slight chance for some development over the West Atlantic northeast of Jacksonville, but will be moving away then.
The official start of the 2019 Atlantic hurricane season is 30 days away.
Make sure you and your family are prepared. The First Alert Hurricane Center has information and resources, including evacuation zones.
