Orange Park Police Department hosts ‘Engaging with People with Differences’

JACKSONVILLE, Fla — The Orange Park Police Department partnered with Building Abilities of Special Children and Adults (BASCA Inc.) in order to put together and teach officers and responders in an, “Engaging With People With Differences” course today!

This course aims to provide law enforcement officers and dispatchers with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to calls for service involving individuals who may have Autism or other special needs.
