BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. — A 70-year-old man died in Bradford County on Monday afternoon after being hit by a car.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 2 p.m. at Stare Road 100 near Southeast 11th Avenue.

The man was riding a bicycle south on State Road 100.
The car hit the back of the bicycle, killing the victim.
The driver fled the scene, but the car was later located.
Charges are pending.
