Miami Grill is celebrating its first North Florida location in Jacksonville.
The company is hosting two grand opening events at the new restaurant at 9575 N. Regency Blvd.
A ribbon cutting kicks off the festivities on Friday at 9:30 a.m. with the Chamber of Commerce, city officials and other guests.
On Saturday, Miami Grill will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., serving dishes fit for any and all tongues; wings, cheese-steaks, gyros pitas, grilled fish, Angus burgers, salads, beer and wine.
Throughout the day, family activities will be occurring, including a live DJ, face painting, menu sampling, door prizes and a chance to win a year of cheese-steaks.
This modern, tropical restaurant is the newest concept developed by Miami Subs Capital Partners 1, Inc. and equity partner, musical artist Armando Christian "Pitbull" Pérez.
Miami Grill is a fast-growing brand, with several additional locations scheduled to open throughout the state of Florida.
