Jacksonville, FLa. — A Brentwood-based youth golf team got a big surprise this Saturday and only Action News Jax was there to capture the big surprise.
A group of volunteers with THE PLAYERS’ Red Coats gifted one team of young athletes a check for $10,000 dollars Saturday morning.
The money will go toward golf equipment like netting and golf clubs.

The Moore-Myers Children’s fund, an organization working to help student-athletes develop as leaders through golf, helps underserved kids develop a road map to success all while staying physically and mentally active.
The funding will also go to golf programs at William M. Raines High School.
