A local 15-year-old boy was found bleeding on a porch in the Brentwood area following a shooting Thursday, according to the Jacksonville's Sheriff's Office.
Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 3900 block of Boulevard at 9:45 p.m., and found a trail of blood leading to the victim.
The teen told officers he was walking home from a store, heard gunfire and realized he was shot in the leg. He did not see who shot him, according to a JSO report.
