JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: Police announced Monday morning that they have located missing Jacksonville teenager Tylia Hayes. She was reported missing Sunday evening in the Riverside area.
Authorities say this is an ongoing and active investigation.
This comes after a statewide alert was issued in Florida.

Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Jacksonville teenager who was reported missing late Sunday evening.
Tylia Asante Hayes, 15, was believed to be last seen at a YMCA center in the 200 block of Riverside Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the teen reported that she was possibly being followed as she left the area on foot.

Hayes was wearing a dark blue jacket, gray flip-flops and glasses.
Authorities said Hayes has brown eyes and black hair. She is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds.
Anyone with any information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500.
A Florida Missing Child Alert has also been issued.
