6:15 a.m. Friday Update: Crews are working to restore power in the Jacksonville and surrounding areas. The number of families without power in Jacksonville has dropped to nearly 2,800. Previously, almost 4,000 were without power.

840 customers in the Mandarin area have been without power since around 10:23 p.m. Thursday. An estimated restoration time has not been announced.
Over 200 are without power in the Hogan area. Power is expected to be back on at 6:53 a.m.
JEA is in the area of Lannie Road where over 100 customers are without power because of a tree or branch that fell on power lines. An estimated restoration time has not been released as crews reassess the condition.

Thursday night’s storms have left several areas without power.
In Jacksonville, there are nearly 4,000 JEA customers without power. According to the JEA outage map, there are crews around the city working to get power restored.

WHERE JEA CREWS ARE WORKING:
- More than 300 customers are without power in the area of Plummer Road. Power is expected to be restored by 8:39 a.m.
- Crews are working to get power restored in the area of Allene Road near the West I-295 beltway. There is no power restoration time announced.
- JEA workers are in the area of Park St. The area has been without power since 9:30 p.m. because of a tree or branch that fell on power lines. An estimated restoration time has not been released as crews reassess the condition.
- Crews are near Herman and Gilmore streets. Power is expected to be restored at 5:40 a.m.
- JEA crews are in the area of Barnes Road South because an outage. They are working to learn what caused the outage. Power is expected to be on at 6:53 a.m.
- JEA is in the area of Lannie Road where over 100 customers are without power because of a tree or branch that fell on power lines. An estimated restoration time has not been released as crews reassess the condition.
- Crews are headed to area of Eagle Bend where over 80 customers are without power. The estimated restoration time is 8:39 a.m.
OTHER JACKSONVILLE-AREA COUNTIES:
No estimated power restoration time has been announced in the below areas but crews are working to get power restored.
In the Clay County area, there are over 800 customers without power. Many outages are reported in the Middleburg area.
In Bradford County, there are outages reported in the Starke area. Over 700 customers are without power. No estimated time of restoration at this time.
In Putnam County, over 800 are without power, mainly in the Melrose area.
In the Columbia County area, there are over 900 customers without power. Mainly in Lake City area.
Over 240 are without power in Baker County. Mainly in the Macclenny area.
Over 500 customers are affected by outages in Union County.
