Jacksonville, Fla. — Citizen complaints prompted the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office to conduct a prostitution sting along Philips Highway.
According to arrest reports, JSO’s vice unit went to the 4200 block of Philips Highway on Monday, Dec. 12, with an undercover officer posing as a prostitute.

When the officer was approached, a takedown signal was given and the suspects were arrested.
Among them was an employee of the U.S. Postal Service.

The following men were arrested on charges of soliciting prostitution:
- Barbaro Rodriguez Gonzalez, 36
- Canuto Ventra-Perez, 24
- Eduardo Manuel Fernandez Calistre, 36
- Gabriel Lopez, 27
- Pedro Gomez, 28
- Kristopher Allen, 47
- Carl Montague, 56
