St. Johns County — It’s an extended summer break for St. Johns County students.
Today school leaders announced they have passed an extension to the existing summer calendar after they say students were shortchanged the previous year due to the pandemic.
The new proposal would revise the 2021-2022 school calendar to include a school start date of August 16, 2021 and end date of June 2, 2022.
