OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Six members of Haiti’s delegation to the Special Olympics USA Games were reported missing after a soccer match earlier this week.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Atione Joseph Mithon, 32; Nicholson Fontilus, 20; Peter Mianovich Berlus, 19; Anderson Petit-Frere, 18; Steevenson Jacquet, 24; and Oriol Jean, 18, have been missing since Monday.

In a statement from Special Olympics USA Games, five of the adults are not Special Olympics athletes, and the sixth is an adult with an intellectual disability.
Representatives with Special Olympics USA Games said the well-being of the delegates is their main concern.
“Local authorities have indicated they have no reason to believe the health and safety of any of the individuals is at risk. To expand the reach and effectiveness of law enforcement’s efforts to locate these individuals, they have been reported as missing persons,” officials said.

Deputies said all six adults were last seen at 710 S. Victory Way in Kissimmee around 2:30 p.m. Monday.

According to the sheriff’s office, the men turned in their room keys and left their bags and personal belongings behind.
Deputies said they have been in communication with local and federal law enforcement in the search for the missing men and no foul play is suspected in the disappearances.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the missing men is asked to contact the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
