Police said a criminal installed a tiny camera and memory card inside an ATM on Jacksonville’s Southside.
The camera was found inside the Navy Federal Credit Union machine located at 9964 Old Baymeadows Rd. on Dec. 10.
According to JSO, employees were going to install anti-fraud security on the ATM when they discovered the light that shines above the pin pad was broken.
Upon closer inspection, they found a small camera and a slot for a memory card that had been removed.

Police said the suspect now has an undetermined amount of video of customer’s ATM transactions including PIN numbers.
Navy Federal Credit Union tells Action News Jax the affected members were notified.
The credit union is advising customers to cover their hand when entering their PIN, be observant of their surroundings and check their accounts regularly.
