ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. — Southern Soul Barbeque was named "The South's Best BBQ of 2017" by Southern Living magazine.
The barbecue spot has also been featured on Food Network's "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" with Guy Fieri.

They serve up pork, ribs, brisket and more at the store, an old seaside gas station.
Also on Southern Living's "South's Best BBQ" list, at No. 10, was 4 Rivers Smokehouse, which is headquartered in Winter Park, Florida, and also has locations in Jacksonville and Orange Park.
