Sports Authority to close all stores nationwide

Sports Authority is closing all stores nationwide.

The sporting goods retailer has 450 locations throughout the United States.

In March the company filed for bankruptcy protection and said it would close 140 stores and two distribution centers.

There were two stores in Jacksonville. Action News Jax is working to find out when they closed.

Sports Authority will liquidate all stores and close operations in the months ahead.
