Two St. Augustine Officers are being recognized for performing a good deed.
Last week, two St. Augustine officers pulled over a woman who didn't have her kids in their child seats, instead of giving her a ticket, they went to Target and bought her child seats for her children.
The officers tell Action News Ja, they did it because it was the right thing to do -- not for recognition.
I thought it was just a good deed, and we went on about our way, but everyday things like this happen, that don’t get seen,” said Officer Michael Brickey.
