ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office arrested De'Erica Lashae Cooks, 22, after she threatened to cut a woman with a knife after the woman said she could not have a slice of pizza, SJSO says.
According to the report, several persons were in the residence when one of the occupants asked another for a piece of pizza. When the woman said “no”, the subject who was already cutting food in the kitchen, began threatening to cut the victim with the knife. pic.twitter.com/6ISrpJdcU9

Deputies arrived to the address of the incident after reports that Cooks stated she would cut the victim, as she was holding a knife she was using to cut potatoes.

A witness was able to restrain Cooks while she was attempting to stab the victim with the knife, police say.
Cooks was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and was transported to the St. Johns County jail, according to SJSO.
