ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — A St. Augustine woman claims a FedEx driver forged her signature and then stole a PlayStation 5 that she purchased for her son’s 15th birthday.
Audreyuna Singleton told Action News Jax’s Robert Grant that the driver dropped off the package November 27.”Well there wasn’t a PS5 anywhere in the envelope,” she explained.

A Ring video captures the driver hand over an envelope and then leave. Minutes later, Singleton said she got the confirmation email the PS5 had shipped.
”He stole it right in front of my face,” she said. “It’s the holidays. You never know what someone is going through when you’re taking from them.”
Singleton electronically submitted a report to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.
”FedEx driver came to my home to deliver my son’s PS5. While waiting for me to answer the door, you can see him on my camera forging my signature and handing me simply the envelope with confirmation.”

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating and has charged the driver with larceny.
Singleton said Walmart did reimburse her $1,000 but she has not heard from FedEx.
”That’s when I reached out to you guys,” she said. “I made a police report and followed up on my own.”
Action News Jax reached out to FedEx and received the following statement:
“The safe and secure delivery of our customers’ shipments is a top priority. We take these accusations seriously, and we are reviewing the circumstances behind the allegations. We will work directly with the customer to reach a resolution in this matter.”
“I just don’t want this to happen to anyone else,” Singleton said. “It’s the holidays — you don’t just steal from people like that.”
