St. Johns County teamed up with Recycle Coach to help educate residents on proper recycling. By downloading the Recycle Coach app or visiting recyclestjohns.com, residents can get their curbside collection schedule, sign up for alerts and learn how to dispose of different waste materials properly.

This comes after St. Johns County faced some confusion over waste pickup schedules after hurricanes Ian and Nicole and during holidays. To combat this issue, the county decided to put its scheduling online and alert its residents of changes digitally based on geographic location.
