UPDATE: The "all-clear" was given shortly before 3 p.m.
Nease High School students were ushered out of classes Friday and authorities were reportedly checking the property after a bomb threat.
A student reportedly found a threatening note in one of the school's bathrooms. The students were moved outside to the football field as a precaution, and officials were hopeful that a sweep would be completed by 3 p.m. Friday.
Authorities were notified around 1:30 p.m.
The school, located on U.S. 1 in northern St. Johns County, has been the subject of rumored campus threats in the past, including one in 2014 that required a letter home to parents.
