The headquarters of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office in downtown is currently roped off due to a suspicious package.

Police have closed several roads including, Marsh Street East, Bay Street, Forsyth Street, and Liberty Street. Officers are taking precautionary measures.
Some streets have been blocked off near the police station located at 501 E. Bay Street. Precautionary measures are being taken due to a suspicious package being located.
