4 arrested on drug charges after Clay deputies serve search warrant in Orange Park

ORANGE PARK, Fla. — Broken pieces of glass and giant holes are left behind after neighbors said the Clay County Sheriff’s Office Swat Team shot flash grenades at a home.

“In the last year or so, it’s gotten a lot worse," said one neighbor, about conditions in the area.

The home is located at 502 Kettering  Way in Orange Park’s Brighton Village neighborhood.

A neighbor who didn’t want to show his face on camera out of fear said it’s not the first time residents have seen deputies at the home.

“There’s constant traffic here, people on bicycles in and out, selling drugs,” he said.

Neighbors said many people live inside and, at one point, they said, they saw at least five people being taken out by deputies.

A Clay County Sheriff’s van marked "inmates" was seen leaving the neighborhood early Thursday.

When Action News Jax  first got to the house, we noticed that the Sheriff’s Office had left a sign letting offenders know that they can either get out of Clay County or their deputies are going to come after them.

The Sheriff’s Office said it is letting the offenders know that they have options.

Representatives of the Florida Department of Children and Familes aslo showed up, asking neighbors if there was a 4-year-old child living in the house.

The neighbors said they didn’t know.

Action News Jax has contacted DCF to learn more about the child.

Some neighbors are hoping that, after what they saw this morning, it’ll be safer for families living in the area.

“Just, the kids in the neighborhood don’t need that activity, don’t need that behavior, and I’m just glad it’s over with now,” said one neighbor.
