The teenage girl's parent originally posted an explanation of the incident on social media, including home surveillance video, but has since taken it down. Action News Jax has reached out to her and has not heard back.
According to the report, the victim was home alone in the Johns Creek neighborhood when the unknown man opened an unlocked door around 10:15 a.m. Thursday. She told deputies she was taking a shower in her mother's bathroom, walked out and found the suspect in her kitchen.

She described the suspect as a white male, approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with a shaved head, wearing a gray T-shirt and blue jeans and work boots.
She told deputies she went back to the bathroom to call her mother. She then felt the door handle move, and she screamed that police were on their way.
Home surveillance video caught a tan Chevy SUV leaving the street around the same time. Deputies believe this is how the suspect got away.
Action News Jax spoke to neighbors, who said they did not recognize the SUV, and are now sharing the picture to warn others.
"I was shocked because we don't normally have anything like that happens in our neighborhood," Amanda King said.
Neighbors are considering making changes to their home security system.
"I guess it's time for a whole security system or something, because I'm not sure what to do to feel safe at this point," Scott Duverger said.
Investigators are working to find if the suspect targeted this house. At this time, it does not appear he got away with anything from the house.
"I was worried about my property before, but now it's like I actually have to worry about everything else," Duverger said. "My wife is always telling me to close the garage door and now I actually have to start listening to her."
