The Jacksonville Convoy of Care delivers truckloads of water to Hurricane Florence relief

Many people from the community met up with the Action News Jax team, News 104.5 WOKV, HOT 99.5, 95.1 WAPE, X106.5 and Power 106.1 to help the flood-ravaged communities of the Carolinas. The community filled four trucks with bottled water donations.
On Wednesday, that water arrived in South Carolina, thanks to Lighthouse Movers and the Tom Nehl Truck Company
"It feels great to be able to do the same thing that people did for us," said Alex Sheffield of Lighthouse Movers. "It's a great thing."
The water was delivered to the Harvest Hope Bank in Columbia, South Carolina by the owners and staff of Lighthouse Movers. From there, it will make its way to flood-ravaged communities and displaced families.
Action News Jax would like to thank all of our viewers and partners who made the Convoy of Care donation possible. You can still donate to relief efforts - we are working with the Salvation Army to collect monetary donations for long-term recovery efforts in the Carolinas. You can donate here
