Thieves are stealing donations from a local thrift store that gives back to people in the community and provides jobs for people with developmental delays.
The most recent theft occurred Sunday evening and was caught on surveillance video.
A man who appears to be wearing a security guard uniform is seen taking close to 20 small chairs that were sitting outside the thrift shop.
“This kind of stuff needs to stop,” said Mark Tillman, owner of Spectrum Thrift Shop, which hires employees who have autism or other developmental delays.

Many of the donated items go to ESE classrooms and day cares, or are purchased by thrifty shoppers.
Tillman says when thieves steal, they not only hurt the community, but limit the opportunities he can give to employees.
He has several members on his staff with developmental delays.
These jobs allow them other opportunities down the road. “The money that we have goes to hiring these kids," Tillman said. “And when you blatantly steal from us, that’s money coming out of their pocket.”
