JSO threaded police tape through Christmas decorations on Brockham Drive in Crystal Springs.
The middle-aged woman who was shot is in critical condition, according to JSO Lt. Chris King.
King said a middle-aged man is now in custody.
He said it appears the shooter and victim know each other, but investigators are still piecing together what their relationship is.
Multiple cameras in and around the house could show what happened, King said.
