JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reports that three men were shot and two were killed Saturday morning in a strip mall parking lot at 5000 Soutel Dr.

At approximately 2:15 a.m., JSO patrol officers were dispatched to the location in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival, three men suffering from gunshot wounds were located. One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene.
JFRD transported the remaining two men to a local hospital for treatment, where one of the men eventually succumbed to his injuries. The other man is still in critical condition.
The JSO Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit responded and are conducting an investigation. Detectives currently believe the three men were involved in an altercation that ended with gunshots fired.

The incident appears to be isolated, and there are currently no outstanding suspects.
