“We have some amazing customers,” said Walker.

Since they’ve been in business, Walker never imagined she would wake up one morning to her restaurant damaged.

“We woke up in shock, many questions, we rushed up there,” said Walker.

She said the car crashed not only into their building, but it also hit the beauty salon right next door.

“I was in total disbelief,” said Walker.

The lounge area and DJ booth inside are destroyed and their restrooms are out of commission.

Walker said normally they host parties on Saturday nights and she’s very thankful that no one was at the restaurant when this crash happened.

Walker told Action News Jax that the crash caused more than $20,000 in damage including problems with the electrical wiring.

They boarded up the wall where the car hit the building to make sure no one enters their restaurant while they wait for the repairs to begin.

They will be closed until further notice.

Right now, it is unclear if the driver was impaired or some other factor caused the crash.
