FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Tracking a warming trend and some rain

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — It’s a cool morning but not as cold as yesterday morning.

  • There are some areas of fog mainly south and west of the Metro.
  • Today will be another primarily cloudy day with temps still just a touch cool.
  • While it stays mainly cloudy the next couple of days, temps start to warm up a bit.
  • Isolated showers are possible Friday & Saturday, especially near the coast.
  • Temps warm into the mid and upper 70s Saturday & Sunday.
  • Sunday does bring scattered showers & a rumble of thunder here or there.
  • Plan on some rain for the Jags game at EverBank Sunday afternoon.
  • We clear things out starting on Monday.
  • Everything looks sunny and decent for New Year’s as temps cool down a bit.
