Large hole that closed Black Creek Dr. in Middleburg has been repaired

The road is impassable.

Middleburg, Fla. — UPDATE: Repair crews on scene have filled in the large hole that closed Black Creek Drive to traffic. The roadway has opened back for vehicles traveling in either direction.

Original Story: Clay County drivers are being asked to avoid Black Creek Drive in Middleburg.

The Sheriff’s Office said in a SaferWatch alert that a large hole has opened in the roadway on the 2800 block of Black Creek Drive near Creek Street.
