One person has died and two others are seriously injured following a crash in Clay County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened before noon Wednesday at Henley Road and Lake Asbury Drive.
According to FHP, three cars were involved in the crash.
FHP says a Nissan was traveling northbound on Henley Road at Lake Asbury Drive when it lost control for some unknown reason. The driver of that vehicle was killed, according to troopers.
The Nissan then sideswiped a Ford Explorer after it lost control, FHP said. There were no reported injuries in Ford Explorer according to FHP.
A third car, a Nissan with two occupants, was hit and both occupants have serious but not life-threatening injuries, according to FHP.
The road is expected to remain closed until about 3 p.m.
