Jacksonville, Fl — The First Alert Weather Team is carefully monitoring and tracking a strong outer band from Elsa moving north-northeast across Northeast Florida and into Duval County.
6 p.m. Wednesday, July 7 - The Tornado Warning in Duval and Nassau counties has expired. Tornado Warning continues for Elliotts Bluff GA until 6:15 p.m.
The tornado watch has been canceled for Baker, Clay and St. Johns counties. The watch continues for Duval and Nassau counties until 8 PM.
5 p.m. Wednesday, July 7 - A Tornado Warning is in effect until 5:30 p.m. for Duval and Nassau counties.

3 p.m. Wednesday, July 7 - As Elsa continues to move father inland towards Northeast Florida, the westside of Jacksonville is beginning to see the effects of the outer band of the storm. Expect at least some strong winds and brief but heavy rain.

11 a.m. Wednesday, July 7 - The center of Tropical Storm Elsa has made landfall in Florida in Taylor County near Keaton and Dekle beaches. Wind speeds are at 65 mph.
10 a.m. Wednesday, July 7 - As Elsa begins its approach to Northeast Florida, there has been confirmation that a tornado touched down in Columbia County Wednesday morning.
A tree fell on a house near State Road 47 and Raven Lane at 7:30 a.m. Authorities say that damage was tornadic in nature.

8 am Wednesday, July 7 - Elsa Approaching the Northern Florida Gulf Coast. A Tornado Watch is in effect for all of NE Florida until 1 pm. Remember, a watch means conditions are favorable for tornadoes to develop. A warning means you should take action/take cover/seek shelter immediately.
