JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two people were taken to the hospital following a crash on I-10 that involved a garbage truck and a disabled semi-truck on Friday, the Florida Highway Patrol confirmed.
The crash happened near Chaffee Road.

A news release by FHP says the driver of the garbage truck veered into and struck the semi-truck that was parked on the right shoulder.
The driver of the garbage truck was critically injured, the release says. The crash is still being investigated.
The right lane is blocked and drivers should expect delays in the area.
