Action News Jax reporter Ryan Nelson interviewed a neighbor who did not want to be identified, but claimed to have seen the car earlier in the day.
The woman tells us she feared for her safety and did not want to be identified.
“Now hearing that there was, you know, an incident with the car, that’s really scary,” said the woman. “…I drove past that car like four times today not knowing that, it’s really scary.”
“It’s also sad that like someone was in there, and people were just driving by not even knowing,” said the woman.
JSO is investigating the cause of death.
JSO is in the process of towing the vehicle to a safe location to conduct an investigation.
