UNF employee found dead in Student Union building

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UNF Police and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office are investigating the death of an employee who was found sitting in a chair on the third floor of the John A. Delaney Student Union building this morning.

52-year-old Michael Jones worked in Physical Facilities, according to a UNF spokesperson.

There were no signs of foul play, however, the investigation is ongoing.  The third floor of the Student Union is closed until further notice.
