VyStar Credit Union is expanding its field membership to those in Southeast Georgia, according to Brian E. Wolfburg, the bank's president and CEO.
This includes Camden, Charlton, Glynn and Ware counties.
The announcement was made Wednesday morning, after the credit union received approval from both the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance and the Florida Office of Financial Regulation.
“The goal of our expansion into Georgia is to improve service and increase convenience for the local businesses and residents who are traveling into Northeast Florida every day for work and play,” Wolfburg stated.
VyStar say they are the largest credit union headquartered in Northeast Florida, serving over 635,000 members.
