Jacksonville was thrust into the national spotlight in the last weekend of August for two shootings that left three dead.
On Aug. 24, a 19-year-old was killed at a Raines High football game . The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office quickly made an arrest, but the shooting caused school officials to move the times of some future football games.
On Aug. 26, a mass shooting at the Jacksonville Landing left two gamers dead who were in town for a Madden 19 tournament.
