NORTHEAST FLORIDA
Florida testing for COVID-19 is available statewide. For additional assistance, reach out to your local County Health Department.
The following locations offer testing for COVID-19. The locations are not managed by the health department and the information may change at any time.
- CVS – CVS will administer a test to those without insurance who are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Click here to go to the CVS testing website.
- Quest Diagnostics – Testing is available at a variety of locations, including Walmart, Quest Patient Service Centers, and other pop-up sites. Appointments are required at all locations. - Walgreens – Free COVID-19 testing is available to patients ages 3+. If you receive a Diagnostic Test and have insurance, you will be asked to show your insurance card at the appointment and the lab may bill your insurer. DUVAL COUNTY
Five COVID-19 testing sites opened in Jacksonville, the city announced: Clanzel T. Brown Community Center, Lane Wiley Senior Center, Emmett Reed Community Center, Cuba Hunter Community Center, Beaches Location (former Kmart shopping center). For more information on those sites, click here.
Testing that was taking place at the Department of Health’s Central Health Plaza will stop on Thursday, August 19. For the health and safety of the community, the department’s testing services will be transferred to Emmett Reed and Cuba Hunter, where mass-testing will be indoors and the central focus.

The COVID-19 Testing Call Center is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Additional Instructions
- A mask or face covering is required inside all Coastal Health District health departments, COVID-19 specimen collection sites, and vaccination events.
- Please do not arrive for your scheduled appointment more than 10 minutes early.
- If you cannot keep your appointment, follow the instructions in your confirmation email to cancel the appointment. Doing so will open the appointment time for someone else.
- You cannot schedule an appointment more than 2 weeks in advance.
