JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — 6/11/19 UPDATE: Action News Jax has learned another man has been arrested in connection to cars stolen from local dealerships.

It’s a story we have been following for weeks after learning 16 vehicles in total were stolen from four dealerships in Orange Park and Jacksonville.

Action News Jax uncovered a new police report that links Ziggy Richardson to thefts at two  car dealerships.

The new report calls Richardson the co defendant to  Brandon Wallace,  we told you when Wallace was also arrested in connection to a Volkswagen Atlas that was stolen and later found trashed  .

We are asking JSO if they are looking for any other suspects in connection to the car thefts.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Jennifer Deloach says her car was stolen from Volkswagen of Orange Park during a routine oil change and tire rotation.

This comes after 15 cars were stolen from three Jacksonville dealerships.

Deloach says when she went to pick it up, she witnessed her own car being stolen.

“As we were pulling in, we see my car peeling out of the dealership parking lot.” Deloach said.

Twelve hours later, JSO called Deloach, saying her car had been found, but not in the same condition. The inside was trashed and her daughter’s car seat had been tossed.

“They found some left over Woody’s BBQ, drinks, some blunt wrappers a little bit of marijuana was found on my floorboard, looks like they had fun in it while they had it,” Deloach said.

Deloach said the joyride was about 250 miles in a 12-hour span.

An arrest report for 22-year-old Brandon Wallace lays out how he was arrested while sitting in Deloach’s car.

TRENDING:

The report says police found a gun, marijuana, pills and a scale inside.

Deloach's vehicle is the 16th known vehicle stolen in the same time frame.

Action News Jax reached out to the dealership several times but they never got back.

Deloach says they have gone above and beyond to help her even replacing that car seat the was thrown out.
