It’s no secret Florida head coach Will Muschamp is coaching for his job this Saturday, when Florida meets Georgia at Everbank Field here in Jacksonville.
On Monday, the Gators coach talked about his team’s last time out in the Swamp.
Muschamp says as a fan, you have a right to boo, start a website do whatever you’d like, but added “it’s tough when you have to go home and explain to your nine year old why they are chanting to fire your dad”.
The Florida coach has struggled since taking over for Urban Meyer in 2011.
He has only won three of the last 13 games, is 25-19 overall, and only 15-14 against the Southeastern Conference.
Add to that he has yet to beat the team’s archrival Bulldogs in three tries and you can see the importance of Saturday for the Gators and their coach.
