All-clear after bomb threat investigation on Jacksonville’s Southbank

Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has reopened Prudential Drive following a bomb threat investigation.

A threat was called in around 10 a.m. Wednesday to 841 Prudential Drive, a 22-story medical building located near Baptist Medical Center.

The building was evacuated while JSO searched its perimeter.

The hospital was not affected by the search. However, JSO closed Prudential Drive near the entrance to the emergency room.

No injuries were reported and no suspects have been named.
