Test-drive an electric car this weekend in Downtown Jacksonville

Jacksonville, FL — JEA is giving drivers a chance to test-drive an electric car this weekend.

Tomorrow, April 16, at TIAA Bank Field, you can learn how to make the switch to an electric vehicle.

Local dealerships will be there to show off their newest electric cars for sale.

Lakeshore Bikes will also be there with e-bikes that you can try out.

The event runs from 12 p.m.-4 p.m.

It’s free, but registration is recommended.

You’ll need a valid driver’s license, a printed insurance card and a signed waiver for test drives.

The event is JEA’s way of promoting energy conservation in honor of Earth Day.
