INMAN, S.C. — Four people were found dead and one person later died at the hospital after a shooting at a house in Inman, South Carolina on Sunday night.
According to Spartanburg County coroner Rusty Clevenger per The Associated Press, deputies with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office found the five people with gunshot wounds.
Four people died at the scene, according to the AP. A fifth person was taken to the hospital but later died from their injuries.
According to the coroner per the AP, all five people were adults, found in different parts of the house. The coroner also said that they were not related.
SCSO said no further information will be released until the people are identified and the next of kin notifications are complete, according to the AP. The coroner is working to complete the autopsies. No suspect information has been released.
